anyone correct me here but i think entertainmentUK obviously nintendo's distributor for the UK cos funny enough the price everywhere online has jumped to at least 104.99  >:(

I got my email today from virgin, so rang cust services, they clearly told me the Amazon bundle was not acceptable, had to buy from either ARGOS or GAME.

No stock at argos, so rang my local branch who had 3 i stock @ £99.99(displayed in shop), off I go and low and behold when he scanned the bundle it had been discounted to £79.99 - So I will get £47 back from Virgin, Emailing them now with phot of receipt, I'll probably them swap it for a Donkey Konga Bundle ;D ;D ;D ;D

They can't tell one person one thing and another person something else....therefore they will have no choice but to honour the difference between the original order and my gamecube from amazon

I just found my order number in my out box folder, woo hoo.
Just sent Virgin my confirmation from Amazon.

Just remember that is copy of your purchase receipt (if you choose to purchase the item from
a high street retailer) or printed dispatch note (if you choose to purchase
the item from an online retailer) You can attach this to your e-mail, fax. So confirmation is not good enough they want you to send a copy of your dispatch note when it has left amzon...possibly so you dont cancel before you get it!!!!!

The bundle detailed in your e-mail is the red one. However, we will happily
make an exception and accept this purchase, if you are unable to locate a
copy of the black one. The requirements/terms remain as per our previous
e-mail.

I phoned Virgin customer services this afternoon and without hesitation the lady agreed that the bundle on Amazon at £84.99 was acceptable. I have therefore order two copies - funnily enough 1 is due for despatch between 8th & 10th December and the other between 17th & 24th December.

I intend to go into town and see if I can find these in the stores locally at 89.99 or less and if so I will buy them and cancel the Amazon order.

Many thanks to all on this site who bombarded Virgin with the laws regarding contracts etc. Hats off to you all and thank you from my kids and my neighbours kids for this bargain pressie

Did anyone just see Watchdog just now? They said Tesco as a one-off would be willing to get the game at that price. Now I'm sure that's what Nicky whathisface just said - game and not bundle. Maybe someone else can clarify??
