I think we are onto a no hoper with tesco, as they say in T&C on website....
Your order is an offer to buy from us. Nothing that we do or say will amount to any acceptance of that offer until we actually dispatch the goods to you. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods to you without giving any reason
Therefore they can say anything they like and cancel the order ..no stock..wrong price..etc.
Only virgin left now...oh well u win some and lose some..:-)0 -

As I said in an earlier post.....Virgin actually debited my account (not just reserved the funds). I am going to check out where I stand with Trading Standards on Monday (via hubby).....but if I don't get them (I ordered twice, one for my son and one for a neighbour who doesn't have internet access) then so be it.
But I won't give in without a good try at getting these goods first ;D

I have just e-mailed tesco to ask why these orders are being cancelled due to being "unavailable"" when they are still for sale (at a different price) on their websiteThe Daily Mail

Just got my knockback from Tesco immediately after logging in to check status of order for the first time since purchasing I would advise against checking your order status if you have not yet received an email cancellingFour guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

I got the same, logged in, marked as cancelled then an e-mail turned up, have also requested a proper explanation as to the cancellation0

They cant state that in their T&C's as its against Distance Selling Regulations.
I've just emailed them the following back to their "unfilled order" email
In response to your email below, if the goods I ordered were unobtainable, can you please explain
why the EXACT same bundle is now available at a different price?
The order (No.4296597) confirmation email I received states "This order should be dispatched within 14 days"
In other words, no attempt has been made to fulfil this order or an offer of a replacement bundle has been made, and this is clearly a contravention of Trading Standards and Distance Selling regulations as the advertised price (£33.24) was for a Pokemon Colosseum Black Bundle (of which I have digital and hard copies of the offer in question) for which
I accepted the offer of Tesco.com to sell the item to me at the advertised price and the contract was fulfilled by Tesco.com in accepting payment for the item.
I will await a satisfactory response from yourselves before taking the matter up with my local Trading Standards office.Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.
