Cant bypass it. This is not Win98. Offer him money0

breaking in to vista good luck,if it was xp easy,
you could run the recover disc ,puy you lose every thing on the lappy (pic, programs ect)
or
ask him how much he wants for the password if you have not Created a password reset disk(i do not think you would have most people do not)there or their, one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0 -
laptop is only new so theirs not that much on it so recover disc may be a good option, unfortunately you cant bribe a bad memory!!!!!!!
thanks for the humour though ;-)WAS DEBT FREE & STILL BAAARRRRRKING

http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/
Originally written for NT, but still works for XP and Vista. It won't recover a password, but will let you reset the password on any account.
Click on the BootDisk tab near the top of the page and it will give you step-by-step instructions. I have used this successfully myself.0 -

You need to go into your BIOS, usually by pressing Del on start up but it will tell you, and set your boot priority to be CD/DVD first then HDD second.
Then restart with the disc in the drive and follow the instructions.0 -
ok using del at start up
is giving me the following choices
ms windows vista
press f8 for advanced
tools diagnostics
so f8
which gives me repair your computer
3 x safe mode
boot logging
configeration
dir/ser restore mode
drivers
auto re start
presume i go to
enable boot logging??WAS DEBT FREE & STILL BAAARRRRRKING
