9600GT is a good gaming card and £30 cheaper than an 8800GT.

But if you can stretch up to the 8800GT then it will last you longer than the 9600GT, only if it's in budget though :)

i've been talking to someone on dell website on the chat thing, i asked about the 256MB ATI® Radeon™ HD 3650 and they said - "That will be a very good graphic card even for the latest games Sam,when are you looking to buy one of these systems" i dont know if i believe them though. All i know is that is has a PCIex16 slot and can only take up to 256mb

It wasn't a particulary spectacular card when it came out in comparison to the Nvidia offerings and you can pick them up for ~£50 now, so I wouldn't say it's going to be good for gaming in the near future, but it will run most games out at the moment ableit not at the highest quality..

Agreed. I'd not touch anything less than the 3750 in ATI. And it can also take far more than 256MB RAM. Whoever told you that the slot limited the RAM the graphics card can have should be fired for being incompetent.
