ooo shiny newish diary (sorry been so busy have only looked at subscrbed threads so only just found this)...
Good to have you back. Fab that you went for the interview as know you were wavering. Re the doing things my experience is this; when I got my divorce I took a job abroad with the view that if the worst came to the worst I had lost nothing and expereinced a culture I wouldnt have otherwise so learned along the way. Long story short is that I arrved and realised immediately that I made a mistake (four year olds in nappies and drinking from baby bottles...need I say more!) but stayed a month but it was one of the defining moments of my life when I left because for the first time ever I basically said no, I wont let you treat me like this, I'm off (in teh middle of the night, no money and shaking like a leaf!)...and left and it felt b*oody marvellous! From then on things changed for the better becaue I, not other people, took control! So for having the courage to do whatever - dont think about it - just d it! For me this meant sacrificing salary for full time study but I now do a job I love so cannot recommend the "go for it" philisophy enough - without it I would prb still be married to a man who I had nowt in common with, in a job I hates & was rubbish at (banking - great when youre mathematically dyslexic!!) and generally happy...
As for ohish...you know what I think on that but in case youve forgotten you deserve better...hugs for ya & great to have you back! BTW if i doenet come off with the job abroad have you thought about moving elewhere for a job you love - ie traiing guide dogs for blind etc...think they may be recruiting generally at the mo? Just a thought...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Hello everyone and sorry for keeping you all in suspenders!! no news today and heres hoping for tomorrow but aside form what they said during the interview i'm kinda starting to not hold my breath. But as people have said what will be will be and it has given me the determination to keep moving forwards with life and carry on.
had some really !!!!!! e-mails from tosserboss to come home to. the day i leave that job won't be a day too soon.
Peb and duchy, i see both points of view, i've wanted to do dog handling/training for so long now that it will always always stay with me as an ambition. If (and i fear now it is only an if) i go to malaysia i will loose the opportunity to train with mic but there will be other opportunities when i get home (planning on a 2 years stint, long enough to pay debt off and save some money) so it won't be a dream forsaken. bottom line is i MUST do something with my life. i'm just treading water at the moment motivation wise and it is becoming tiring.
lucifa, dragon, bob, lunar isom good to see you!! please post anytime, i'll keep you all updated!! Lots of love P xxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -

Yeah ok ta, went to bed earlier but couldn't settle, I blame being back at work.
I will undoubtedly be online at some point tomorrow whilst trying to stretch 2 hours worth of work through an 8 hour day... so a chat would be lovely.

Hi Pania
So fingers crossed for tomorrow then regarding the job. Just make sure if you get it that job in Malaysia that you take the opportunity to turf out all of OHish's stuff out and change the locks. That way he is definitely is out of your life!!
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
