Orange are a bit vague with their data plans. I recently upgraded through retentions, and managed to secure an unlimited data package as part of my monthly deal. They were offering free u/l browsing on all plans over £30 (or was it £35?), but have since withdrawn this. It appears that you can still choose unlimited browsing as an additional benefit of Panther plans.
I think it's also worth phoning the networks directly, or popping into a shop, as you may be offered incentive deals.
Hope this helps.0 -
Thanks - about as far as I got - also anecdotally there seems to be different treatment of people going over their allowance - t-mobile talk about warnings and throttling; Three are reported to charge £100 per GB :eek:I think....0

Hi Michaels,
I have recently started a project to try and capture all this. It's in it's very early stages, but it maybe of use. Check us out at http://www.mobilemeg.org/.

PAYG is a 200Mb limit. It says this in the terms.
Contract is allegedly unlimited (ie that's what their staff think it is) but getting hold of a copy of their Acceptable Use Policy is impossible (I have not managed it yet). However, the two explanations I have received are that
"It's unlimited"
and
"Yes, it's 200Mb and we operate a three-strike system if you exceed this amount before we stop your use of the bolt on".
However, as I cannot get a written copy of these terms, I would hope that it would be deemed unenforceable.*I reserve the right to have an opinion, the right to change this opinion and the right to be wrong.*Hope that helps.
