    Congrats Daphne!
I was so excited when I passed my test that I blubbed! the examiner thought I was a loony! His face said that he wanted to revoke my licence there and then!
    ...Linda xx

I blubbed too Linda, i bawled my eyes out first time when i failed... and again when i passed the second time!!!!

I'm off to bingo tonight, wish me luck!

I think last time i posted i was going to bingo, linda was too on the sunday, and she bleeding won £1000!!! So feel free to do so again babes!

I'd settle for £20 tonight at my local club bingo, but £100 would be nice.

Hope you are feeling a bit better BB. your confidence seemed to be on the up - no chance of applying for any better paid full time jobs? just to reduce the stress somewhat, you know what we all think of OH so no point dwelling on that... You are a beautiful, clever and talented woman and you need to start believing that! x

Okay - got to catch up now!

BOS (aka LInda) - I don't do the list (shush) I just tell everyone else to do it.. Actually I do bits off the lists, but thats the whole idea. I will do more bits next week..

Lenny - have you sorted your purple lines out.

Daphne - Well done you! I am well chuffed for you...

Maz - good luck at the bingo mate! fingers crossed for you...

Numpty - feel free to bring me tea in bed, wash my car and be nice to me... The grass has been cut unfortunately

BB - what can I say to you my great friend. You are well loved by lots of people on here and I am sure outside of here. I know lots of people have said it but YOU DO NOT DESERVE THAT MAN! But its so easy to say and not so easy to let go.

Wise man once said to me that you will never make a fortune at a job you don't like.. You need to do something that you like and you will make a fortune. Not sure what that is for you but I do know you have a passion for cooking and food....Any chance of you going in that direction. You thought about it once didn't you.

Keep your chin up mate! and next time book a girly weekend away. I am more than up for it.. This time last year would have been difficult for me to do that personally but twelve months is a long time and I seem to have got over my agrophobic tendancies!!!!! I am sure Maz, and bunny and IA and a couple of others would be up for it......(I love benidorm!)

Funny thing happened to me today!!

for the last few weeks we have been plagued by calls from 'foreign' lpeople telling me that my loan application has been accepted. One even told me that my OH had given them my number. They have been full of !!!!!!!! from the start and its starting to do my head in.

I have reported them to the telephone preference service, who tell me they have had numerous complaints but tell me they can't do a lot as the company is an overseas company (even though the number is an 020 no) and they can't trace the owner of the number.

They called this morning so I went along with the call and said my house was worth half a million pound I earned a fortune etc and when she asked me how much I wanted to borrow I told her £1.5 million! She asked me three times, and then she asked what I wanted the money for. I told her I just wanted to spend it. She then passed me onto a manager and I repeated it to him.

After a pause, I then told him that I hope he now realised how much of a pain it was to have your time wasted and to now take my telephone number off their system and never ring me again. He just passed me back to the original telephone operator who menacing told me to f off over four times. She said I was mental, said I had been wasting her time and I was a B I T C H!! When I put the phone down on her she rang me back and started again.

Tiscali just suggested I call the police!!!!

Although it was quite amusing I am sick of them ringing and something needs to be done about these people. Surely someone must be able to trace these people..
