Burlesque_Babe wrote: »Cheers Maz/Len/tk.....it's not just OH (although he has today made things quite clear on the future of our relationship and where it will never go, let's just say the way forward is 'limited'), it's also my finances (managing on my own), my poor pay - not much over the minimum wage, working 7 days a week, taking on a third job and still going be earning a pittance, my weight, basically it's like a really big, bad clash of all the major issues in life all on the same day.
i'm also incredibly tired. OH was up before 6 this morning, it's been a few late nights with him working so late and with the crying, I'm just wasted. I've switched off AQA. I've done just under £30, I really wanted to do £60 or £70 today but I'm exhausted.
We all feel like that over much n such the same kinda things, relationships, self image, work, money...
You seem to have so many positive attibutes that seem untapped.......
and in the immortal words of bunny... you're OH is a bit of a !!!!!!, and doesn't deserve you!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Daphne that is EXCELLENT bet you are over the moon xxxxNevertheless she persisted.0

I know - everything seems very heightened today, each issue has been building for a few days and they've all hit the cross roads at the same time. The work solution would be to get a job back in PR but I vowed never to go bak after 15 years of it. I would hate the job after a couple of months - even if it was for something like PR for Thorntons!
Well, I know exactly where he stands now. Let's just say the only option other than splitting is to carry on exactly as we are, with nothing ever progressing - ever. I went through every aspect of a relationship and how it could progress and each one got a brick wall reaction. He won't even consider renting his house out and moving in here (even though he's here 7 nights a week) and sharing the costs of living together and using the rent to pay his mortgage or me doing the same and moving in with him. Just a straight 'no'.
I guess all the issues are intertwined really and like I said, it isn't just him, but obviously my relationship affects other aspects of life and they in turn affect our relationship."Stay Wonky":D

He does sound like a useless !!!!!!, does he see carrying on forever as acceptable then? I'd have to tell him how that made me feel, like a blooming stopgap. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

I did tell him Gemmzie, my days of keeping my mouth shut for fear of rocking the boat have been well and truly blown away now ....anyway, I'm not going to whinge on about stuff. I just did a whole rant but I've deleted it.
Am off to see Charlie and see if the rain clears my head a bit."Stay Wonky":D

Hope you are feeling a bit better BB. your confidence seemed to be on the up - no chance of applying for any better paid full time jobs? just to reduce the stress somewhat, you know what we all think of OH so no point dwelling on that... You are a beautiful, clever and talented woman and you need to start believing that! xMortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Congrats Daphne!
I was so excited when I passed my test that I blubbed! the examiner thought I was a loony! His face said that he wanted to revoke my licence there and then!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
