    It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Evening All
    Had a good day today actually. Took DD swimming this morning and have enrolled her for her first official swimming lessons on her own...at the ripe old age of nearly 3! More money but actually I would rather go without food as long as she learns to swim, something that I feel is really really important.

    I'm guessing it's raining as hard there as here........it's vile outside....

    well, this morning OH said 'if I'm not here for 8 in the evening don't bother with any dinner'. He is eating lots, fast, late (literally every night of the week) and he has been ill a couple of times in the night but hey, everyone else put their lives on hold if he can't get here.:rolleyes:

    I said 'well maybe just get yourself here for 8? - at the latest??':confused: (he is home before 6 on a work night, lives 1/4 mile away and will have spent today watching the Olympics)..........there's enough lasagne for 4 in the oven which he saw me make this morning and salad and no sign........I am NOT phoning him.
