So i upgraded to the iphone tariff the other day and paid the £59 for the 16gb one as i was looking to replace my ipod and needed the memory.

So im on the £45 tariff and with free wifi and data, but i got the unlimited texts bolt on added for free (i knew the guy in the shop) but somehow the upgrade didnt go thru properly so i went into the shop the other day and got it sorted out and my online billing now reads iphone 45 tariff, unfortunately my free unlimited text bolt on does not appear anymore as the person who put the upgrade thru properly was unable to add it due to the system not letting them. They guy said give it a few days and ring customer services

I plan on going to the store on monday so they can ring customer services to get it put on again.

I have the receipt saying that the phone was upgrade blah blah and then the unlimited text bolt was free.
Normally u would have to pay £7.50 for these bolt ons but surely o2 would have to honour it for free if it says so on the receipt??

Hope this makes sense lol

that's what you need to do Then argue a bit. they will probably refer you to the point of sale and you'll have to argue it out with your 'friend', who may face a disciplinary for offering something which a) he wasn't supposed to and b) he now cannot honour.

The upgrade departments and account provisioning teams pick up on erroneous orders and reject them. wouldn't be suprised if it was super stringent on the iphone contracts as they;re causing o2 a lil bit of grief these days.

Do you not get the free bolt-on with the iPhone tariffs?

No, but all iPhone tariffs have the "free" iPhone bolt-on which gives you unlimited web (and unlimited wifi via the cloud) & visual voicemail.

Ah I didn't know that. I text a lot and I thought I would get that free bolt-on. So I can get the text bolt-on for £7.50?
