I've got an e saver but there's nothing in it and have no idea on the interest- sorry think it might be about 5%possibly?
  • Alliance and leicester's Esaver is good - I think it's 6.56% interest. You can have the interest paid monthly. The only catch is that if you make a withdrawal you lose the interest for that month. I have an account with them and got £20 cashback for opening it too :D

    Evening girls,

Sorry to barge in and go totally off topic here but has anyone been watching Embrassing body illness on channel 4? They were talking about HPV can cause cerival cancer.

Well here's the thing when i was 19 i got HPV virus which they say could be linked to cervical cancer. There's only 2 types in 40 different HPV strains that actually cause cancer. The doctor told me at the time the type of HPV virus i had is a 'Low risk virus' but said i should get a cervical PAP (smear) done anyway the next month.......I was scared of them finding cancerous cells i didnt book an appointment and have never been to have one since.

Most of you know my 'I want it now' has changed to wanting to start a family. But now i want to start a family i know i should get the test done before i start TTC. But im so scared, not of the test as ive had STI tests done before so know what to expect. But of the results.

Do all you girls have yearly or every 2 year smear tests done?

i was the same as you i had a letter asking for me to go for a smear when i was 18 and i refused to go then when i starting trying for a baby someone said i should go before i fall prgnant to make sure everything was ok in there as it would be better to know before i felt preganant then while i was pregnant and it causing problems with the baby or me having to have a termination it scared me into going. i went in and told the nurse in tears i was there for a smear she explained the procedure to me and reasurred me and it was nothing like as bad as i was expecting. my advice is to book to have it done asap go and do it try not to think about it. it is beeter to know sooner rather than later!

i think they only contact you if there is a problem how they contack you depends on the surgery/ doctor. if you are worried you could tell them you want to know the results either way then you will know fo sure?
