Been working out money for this month, when i get paid i should have enough to:-pay off rest of debt, pay £37.50 towards getting freesat installed, save £44 (to bring my savings up to £50!), pay £19 for a night out the mini club are holding ,all the normal bills and hopefully still have some left over for spends-wow!!! (this is including one days overtime and the tax rebate )
But not including any quidco (got £20 at least to be paid and £45 to come from the wedding shop for a necklace (who eventually got back to me this morning...grrr!!)
That is my money for clothes :-)

    Evening all.

I am more focused on buying a house than ever as i can't stand renting anymore! Been doing it for nearly 5 years and its so frustrating, i can't decorate and not really supposed to have my cats so i can't wait to own a home in which i can decorate and have a cat flap!

    Evening everyone :)

Well done on the sale Mabel, £45 is pretty good going. I feel the same as you lil miss. I don't like not being able to decorate/being conscious of doing the slightest thing to damage the house, which is part of why I'm still living with my dad (other than the money saving side). I'm not too worried about being able to save a deposit up as that should be fine when I get a permanent job, but I'm worried I won't have a well enough paid job to be given a large enough mortgage to get a house :(.
    Finally bought a home
    Starting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]
    Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.47

I am feeling guilty, just wasted £15 on bingo online :o

I always think yeah lets play then think what a waste after, that £15 could go towards my house

    Bad Dawn!

  • Evening all,

I've just got in from college... that's it over for another week thank god!

I know what you mean about renting... though I've never rented, I still live my parents. I'd love my own place so I could kit it all out and decorate it the way I want to!

Someone mentioned setting themselves targets to get over things that scare them... well I've been doing that and it's working. August's target was to enrol at college, September's target was to GO to college (!), October's is going to be to send some job applications  Which is super terrifying. Even if I don't go for the interview, part of the fear is putting the application in the post box. :o I've been making lots of lists recently too, which keeps me motivated as I like crossing things off once I've done them... simple things please simple minds eh:rotfl:

Right I'm rambling on! What are you all up to tonight? I'm going to order a couple of things of M and M direct tonight to treat myself, as the hoodie I was watching on ebay ended up going for £27! It's only £13.99 brand new!!!

CL you are doing so well with college, small steps are best so you don't get overwhelmed.

I am sitting here trying to get off my butt to cook dinner but cannot be bothered.

  • Thanks. I feel like at least I'm doing something... Even though it's only 5-hours a week, it's definitely enough for now :o

What are you going to cook, lilmissmup? I hate cooking. My mam kept back some spicy rice and chicken for me so I'm stuffing my face with that now - it's delicious.

You have done so well CL and i did exactly the same as you r.e jobs, remember you dont have to go for the interview and if you do and they offer you the job you dont have to take it-you are in control...i ended up going for the interview getting the job and taking it and am still there a year later :-)

I hate cooking too lol. I prefer takeaway :p

I sometimes venture onto the old style board and then run away as its all too much hardwork for my lazy butt.

It might even be microwavable pizzas tonight as i just cannot be bothered!
