Hope it goes ok then. Re the cd purchase try and get branded (TDK are my fav.) Also can you use DVD? Two types available but dont worry, the + and - ones. Samsung (Pleomax), Verbatim, HP, etc. £10 for 25 dvd pack.
Note You will lose ALL data/work/pictures with this proceedure, BACKUP 1st
