Tiscali Vs Toucansurf Broadband

Hello All

I've decided to take the leap from dial-up to broadband. After much research I am down to the final two (sounds like the X-factor). I would like to know your experience of the two (Tiscali and Toucansurf) from the customer service's point of view.

oooh...... I've almost signed up to tiscalli - would be interested to know opinions about it (on aol now - couldn't really get much worse than them!)

they are pretty much the same.... ie Toucansurf use Tiscali's network - as they are resellers.... though just to also point out.... Tiscali have recieved lots of complaints about speed, billing, customer service, etc etc

Tiscalis customer service is absolutely appalling......please search this forum for all my comments on them since they started messing around with my broadband nearly a year ago.......I took them to OTELO who fined them and got them to compensate me.

This is a company who have an complaints email autoresponse saying "we take complaints seriously and will reply within 10 days" but in reality they never responded until months later when OTELO told them to apologise and cough up cash.

I'm with Tiscali,and my advice would be......

LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!!!

I'm off soon,when I can find a deal that suits me.

Hi, If you haven't already done so log onto https://www.adslguide.org.uk. I have recently had broadband installed and had a good search through the msg forums on adslguide site and picked one with a good reputation. I know from checking these boards that Tiscalli especially are not to be touched with a barge pole!!!!!!!!!!!!
