Does Adios work???

OK, update!
I have been using Adios now for 3 days. The increased going-to-the-loo side effects are very visible, especially since I have mild to moderate constipation and sometimes wait up to a week between 'visits'! Since Adios its been 2-3 times a day!!! Which is marvellous. Sluggish bowels do make me feel and look very bloated so I feel a lot lighter.
Anyway, I know that's not the same as weight loss... but here's the interesting thing! I am actually eating less often and smaller amounts as well! Eating too much makes me feel physically ill and I just stop! I haven't snacked apart from the first day and even then I could hardly force it down!
For a £2.50 investment (100 tablets) it is going ok so far. I don't intend to use it long term but if it makes me actually lose a few pounds that will be the kick start that I need.
I will keep you all posted.

Just wanted to say - my diet is pretty healthy generally. I eat plenty of fruit, veg, pulses etc and don't really eat processed/fried stuff. My only (major) downfall is sweet stuff, esp. chocolate. And I'm exercising more lately. If I can cut the sweets out I'll be sorted! So hopefully Adios will do the trick.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Wow, that sounds promising! Where did you get them for £2.50? It might be worth a try at that price - any time I've seen them (and ignored them as I thought they were a load of tosh) they were quite expensive.0

They were on the reduced shelf in Asda, expiry date isn't till Jan 2009 but they must have a lot to shift!!
Just looked on eBay, there's a 100-pack for £3.70 (Buy It Now price) plus £1.70 postage = £5.50 in total. Which isn't too bad. If my trial works out as well as I hope I'll be ordering more!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Sunday update: woke up this morning and didn't even feel hungry! I am going to have muesli in a minute, not too much though. And I'll remember to pop my pill with itGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Thanks, I'll take a look in Asda, need to go there anyway in the next couple of days. Let us know how it goes!0

Tara, please be careful with drugs like these. If it contains Senna, your already sluggish bowel is going to get even more sluggish as it relies on tablets to get it moving. You may end up having to take them for the rest of your life.
My nan took Exlax and had to take that every single day.
Try some good old breakfast cereal. I like Dorset cereals and they seem to do the trick!I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100 -

Thanks for the warning DFD! I must look into that actually. I am always wary of my bowel becoming dependent on laxatives but my doc tells me that I should take them every so often since it's v. unhealthy to have waste hanging around inside for days and days... but I will certainly do some more research.
Today has been the same foodwise, definitely not craving bad stuff AT ALL which is great, feeling full after every meal etc. Which is great and just what I need. Today I haven't had a No 2 yet but I think that's because I've had so many the last couple of days, there was nothing left!!! Sorry, perhaps that was TMI... anyway, I will post again tomorrow.
