O2 Broadband with Mobile contract

I'm thinking of getting a BB contract with O2 and noticed that If I have a mobile contract with O2 then the monthly cost is reduced by £5/month.Does this mobile contract have to be in my name or can I use the mobile contract that my son has although he doesn't live with us anymore.I've got his permission to do this, if its possible.I know I can take out a PAYG contract and top up with £10 every quarter as an alternative plan but its more hassle.

I would think the BB contract must be at the address details matching the mobile contract. It would also have to be in your sons name etc.

if you phone o2 sales on their freefone number, I believe they can confirm that name & addresses can be different for provisioned mobile and broadband services.

One of my relatives migrated to o2 last week and required different name & address for separate mobile phone and broadband billing purposes. £5 pcm discount on broadband service billing applies so long as the o2 mobile phone contract remains active.
