I have just been completely hoodwinked by P4U - went in for a Handset upgrade in Feb and they managed to sign me up for a new 18 month contract with Orange which I had no idea about until yesterday even though I was already with Orange and had 6 months left to run. I specifically told them not to change my service contract and on all the paperwork it does state HANDSET UPGRADE ONLY, but they have sneakily put in front of this 18 MONTHS. When they took my card they just told me it was for ID. I can't believe I fell into this one!! Written to them and Orange but don't think I have much hope.

There is much specialist advice on this subject in this forum and I am sure you will get more specialist advice from members on this subject but I would
make the following points. The facts as you state show iffy conduct and i would complain formally to Orange as the networks are supposed to be cracking down on this sort of behaviour by their agents & some have been disbarred for it. Write to the company and complain & make the point that you are also complaining to Orange. Frankly if it was me I would also deny that I had ever signed a new contract with them, as the one you signed does not appear to state the terms of a contract

The OP upgraded in FEB so no chance of the cooling of period.
