hi
work of warning to people getting virgin i have copied and pasted my story from digital spy forum since the guys have- are helping me sort out the nightmare
will try and explain best i can but years ago ntl took up the edge bit of my drive to lay cable and made a right mess.
Then i had bt install some lines and did a lovely job.
So the story two weeks yesterday the guy next door got virgin cable the guys were using a still saw to cut the edge of the drive to lay cable and were at it for 3 hours, never thought anything of it but later that night took dog for a walk and noticed it was my drive they had dug up.
We are talking about a 10ft length and its only 6in wide but they have made a right mess re-laying it not even matching not level etc. The drive runs down a bank and the water collects in it.
The following day rang virgin and was told to do the girl
i quote a big big favour and go next door and get him to complain! told her no. So i sent a email over and got a call confirming they should'nt have done it and would look in to it. This monday got a call saying yes they were breaking the law and a engineer would come out to have a look. He turned up took me he had spoke to the guys and it was a shared drive, i said i would get my deeds and it was'nt asked him what he was going to do about it and he said take photos and go back to his boss.
I have'nt heard from them and don't know who to send a letter to can anybody suggest or help. i need this sorting since when it starts to weather it will break up and who will i have comeback on in a couple of year.

the guy that did the work yesterday was lovely he is a self employed builder that does lots of work for virgin and told me some stories that would be a nightmare and how the guys that fit the lines work.
since i are'nt a customer and have spent so much time trying to sort this mess out i am going to claim for loss of earnings etc but don't know where to start ! does anybody have any ideas ?

only after i got in touch with ceo office neil berkitt did i get anyway
then when to area managers came out the quote of the day was

now for all you ladies out they you will know how i felt:eek:
apart from the fact i am divorced why should my husband have to deal with it
any advice would be welcome i will fight this for all the people that have suffered at virgins hand.
