amounts are important because the answers you get will be different. The issues someone with £500k have will be very different to someone with 5k.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I wouldn't recommend you keep it in such a low-paying account. You should also consider that only the first £35,000 is protected if the bank goes under....does anyone think stating amounts to invest is rather....vulgar..?.maybe not...anyway...my £500 million shall I keep it in my current account paying 1.5% pa....
I intend setting up my own private bank next week, and if you deposit your £500,000,000 with me I will pay you 1.505% and I will spread your money around 14,286 different financial institutions, negating the need for you to research and maintain so many accounts.
Your money will be quite safe; all the underlying accounts will be FSCS regulated. You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:0 -

Then get caught up with a "I need to deposit £5million into a UK bank account, all I need is your bank account details!"

Im fairly sure you can get better returns than 1.5% - why not have a look around the best buy tables...........................................
I think you could also get £20 cashback via Quidco if you took the Tesco Internet saver - every little helps;)0 -

No, I think most will see it as a bit of sarcasm, but you can't account for lunacy (which is what getting infolved in scams is)Anyone wonder if it's a scammer...
