5p listing day

I know..I listed something a few offer days back and realised I had missed out a very very vital bit from the auction title and apart from pulling the auction and starting again I couldn't do anything about it. I could have kicked myself especially as it was an expensive item naturally!

Can I just check
Ebay says that items previously listed to go on auction on November 3rd will also qualify for the 5p listing fee. Does that mean that if I list something today to start auction tomorrow I will also qualify for the 5p listing???? I have a busy day tomorrow and might not have the time to list everything...Debt Oct 2005: £32,692.94
Current debt: £14,000.00
Debt free date: June 20080 -
With regards to the revising of items after listing. Last time ebay had an offer like this, I used my buyer account ID to ask a question. I then replied to the question via my seller account ID and posted the question and answer on the auction listing page. Sort of a way round it if you forget something.0

Yes you can list something today to start tomorrow but you will still have to pay the advance listing charge so for smaller items you won't be saving very much.

Ebay brought this in a year or so ago as a lot of sellers were listing blank auctions all day and then going back in at their leisure and adding the correct text and photographs.

Hi Soolin. I've just tried to increase the duration of a listing that I made on the 5p listing day it states at the bottom that no additional fees have been incurred. Therefore, it appears that you are allowed to revise listings made on 5p listing day and not be charged the full fee.0 -

Anyway, that's useful to know. I would have assumed you couldn't revise anything.0 -
No, just increased duration from 7 days to 10 days. Haven't tried to increase or lower price yet but I am sure thats allowed also without being charged full listing fee.0

Be careful of revisions though as maybe the ebay computer will pick up an alteration to the duration as 'not chargeable' as it normally wouldn't be and not take into account the fact you were originally charged a lower fee. Double check your actual invoice and keep an eye on it as you may be charged the catch up fee later.
The terms and conditions were quite clear in that any revisions or alterations would be chargeable, and that should include revising the duration of the listing.
