I'd say your best bet is to email lana.baird@energylinx.co.uk.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Have you tried writing to them recorded delivery or ringing them?

What is the reason they have given for failing to honour the cashback?

(EDF won't help you - the cashback deal is between you and energylinx only)

Energylinx emailed me to say I should receive my cashback on approx 13th Feb. When it was not paid I telephoned them and they said they would pay straight away. I have telephoned again but am still waiting.

Write to them recorded delivery.
Head your correspondence, 'letter before legal action'. Demand payment is received within 14 days.
If still not received, file a claim here :)

• Hi there,

After trying a few times I've managed to get in touch with Energylinx who have apologised for the cashback problems. It says it's due to providers not informing them of transfers until ong after they've happened.

I've been assured that any outstanding cashback problems will be sorted so if you're having problems please private message me (click on my name and then 'send a message') with your customer ID, surname and post code and I will ensure you get any cashback due.
• After 3 phone calls I have received a £15 cashback but I was expecting £30 for switching gas and electricity. Energylinx claim the cashback offer for each fuel was NOT for dual fuel. Is this correct? Unfortunately I did not keep a record of the original offer.

The current deal is:
The £17 cash-back is per transfer, as follows:
Dual transfer to one supplier = £34
Separate gas and electricity to separate suppliers = £34
Separate gas and electricity to the same supplier = £17

I suspect the same was true when it was £15/£30

i.e. You only get the full amount if you switch both gas & electric to different suppliers
