Not if you learn how to use it, which could be said for all software!
Dont think that JUST because ive started posting on here im some sort of tech newbie. I know cos ive had it ~ but to be fair they may have changed how it works now, I can only comment on how it worked a few years back and I had all sorts of problems (and I know EXACTLY how to work it thanks :T):idea:0 -

So don't advise against it's use now then! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

I advised against it because when I used it then it somehow stopped other programs I had from working properly! I dont mean blocking them from reaching the net I mean actual conflicting software and as I understand it zonealarm (the newest) STILL conflicts with a LOT of software
And in the context of this thread I think we can both agree that theres something blocking comodo. Wether you like the software or not is not the case ~ I think finding whatevers blocking it is the first problem to overcome and what shes chooses to use after that is entirely upto her. As of yet I dont know of comodo conflicting with ANY software and once uninstalled its completely gone (unlike zone):idea:0 -
Yes, I never use paid anti-virus/spyrware/firewall software.
It's usualyl very poor, or at least not to the standard I require.
I recommend ZoneAlarm, just google it, it's the industry standard.
Another thing to avoid is just relying on the built-in Firewall that comes with XP or Vista. Both have a place I suppose, but they are still vulnerable to attack.0
