Do I have a case against 3?

Hi,

I have a 3 contract that ends its 18 month length in February 2009.

Every Friday, and most weekends, I attend events in both Hereford and Caerwent (Wales) and am unable to ever get reception at either location.
The main reason it causes me an issue is that to get to both venues is a mixture of dark B-roads usually very late at night so if anything bad was to happen I would be unable to contact any reletives etc.

The problem is now getting worse. Its rarely been an issue at home (middle of Gloucester) but over the last few months its getting worse. I have little or no reception is my 2nd floor bedroom. I have reception if I stand in the ground floor garage but if I put the phone on the floor or lie down the reception goes.

Ive run 3 so many times, logged the problem, and all I ever get is a foreign voice telling me that there isnothing they can do cos there 'Network Coverage Map' tells him that there is coverage.

Do I have a case to concel my agreement and claim for the fact that they sold me a mobile phone contract that has become unusable?

Many thanks

No. Their ts + cs cover this, and they don't guarantee a 24/7 service.

Is there a difference between 24/7 and never actually getting a signal in places they say that they do get a signal?

    Thanks for replying :)

All you can do is raise a complaint - and escalate the matter if they don't respond to the complaint.

But they do have this stitched up in the conditions:
There may be situations when 3 Services are not continuously available or the quality is affected and so we cannot guarantee continuous fault-free service

Network coverage is usually offered for out-door locations. They generally stipulate that they cannot guarantee indoor network coverage.
