Marrow - any receipes??

            Just to let you all know what the marrow was transformed into last night. I made a cheese sauce after the excellent recommendation above using mature cheddar, milk, flour and onion for flavour. Added some smoked haddock and filled each half with it, sprinkling some cheese on top! I then wrapped in foil and cooked for 50 mins then unwrapped and cooked for a further 10 mins to brown the top! It was soooo scrummy - so thankyou for the suggestions.
 Hopefully I will get more marrows so I can try the other suggestions out! (my OH thought I was crazy taking a pic but I told him that I needed to show other MSErs what I'd done with their suggestions! LOL! ) ) 0 0
