Single female, buying property that has no central heating system, very old gas fire and needs re-wiring. Haven't a clue where to start, can anyone advise what is the best system and should I go with British Gas or are there better offers out there.
Absolutely clueless how to go about things, I generally get taken for a ride as they know how uninformative I am and I end up paying over the odds for things and is left shoddy. Don't like confrontation. Please help - most grateful, thanks
Oh it is a 2 bed property!!

Good morning: A good start would be a look at the 'In My Home' forum...reams of information and advice available there eg. try 'new boiler' as a search.
