  • I paid my 3rd payment on the 9th October and have just rung the post office to query when my cashback letter would come , this was what i was told .....

Over 1000 people are due the cashback ... After your 3rd payment it takes aminium of 2 weeks to show up on their system ..... Then up to 28 days for them to send out the letters ( with barcode to exchange in the post office for cash ) ..... They have told me to ring them again to chase it up , if i haven't received the letter by the end of Nov .....

So at the moment it looks like i will have to pay at least one more months direct debit ...... maybe even two ....

So here's hoping that it arrives soon !!

    terri xx

Thanks for that:T , it's useful information for everyone involved, I was going to ring but will leave it for now as some poor person at teh post office is proberbly inundated. I'm sure we are all in that 1000  !!!
    Just trying to be me.....

I wouldnt cancell direct debit until you receive everything

Technically you should be able to cancel the DD and still receive the cashback as you have fufilled the T&C's. However, for the sake of one more DD, do you want to take the chance?

Having problems with the quidco element to this.

By the time my application was completed the £43 PO Life Insurance cashback had been removed from quidco. So, like others, I selected the next highest PO insurance which was £27.20 and submitted a ticket. That amount has never been updated to £43 and I notice it has today validated at £27.20 with Nov 08 payment date. Anyone else in the same boat? I've contacted quidco to see what they say.....
    Quidco ~ £3,718 | Greasypalm ~ £354 | Freefivers ~ £45 | Pigsback ~ £260 shopping vouchers + 15 CDs
    Total cashback / freebies / money-saving: 2006 ~ £3,961 | 2007 ~ 3,610 | 2008 ~ £4,159 | 2009 ~ £1,449

    3rd Payment - 1st Oct
Quidco currently saying - Validated £43 - Payment Date Nov

Do you think it is safe to cancel my Direct Debit now or would you wait until the Quidco has definatly paid ?
  • I am planning on waiting and seeing about Quidco. Will prob let the Nov £5 go through then cancel.
