unfortunately im a vodka girl lol but will definitely need a few afterwards im sure lol so might just go try that pub......once ive done this once for this concert i am hoping oasis are gonna play in manchester too and i should be an old hand by then lol....

Taxi from Alt to city cenre is about £25 so the tram is really your best bet - when you see how near to the hotel it is you'll understand.

I think u should stick with ur hotel in monton.
Its not too far from old trafford, well a lot nearer than altrincham.....
take a bus to Picadilly then a tram or bus to old trafford.

Maybe ask about a private taxi firm how much it will be.

cos bus fares not cheap in manchester depending on how many pple there are. a all day bus tickets about £3.30 I think!!
