BT Billing question : No broadband on June 08 bill

Options
I did a bit of a daft thing and agreed to some offer over the phone from BT broadband a few months after my first 12 months expired.

I think this was in May.

Checking my paper bills, my rate for BT Broadband Option 1 changed from £15.31 to £13.60 on 5th May.

On the June 2008 bill there is no mention of broadband services, no charges, nothing.

Broadband still working fine

I've just signed up to their online billing and will hopefully be able to see a bit more online in 48 hours.

Has anyone else had such a thing occur after some kind of changeover ?

How long can they "back" bill if I leave this and do nothing to rectify it ?

Furthermore, I'm very tempted to go to SKY, I've had no written confirmation from BT of a new 12 month contract starting in May 08, am I duty bound to stay with them to May 09 ?

Thanks in advance.

    Just worked this one out...

BT are being fly and not stating broadband charges as "broadband charges"

In May 08 it was quite clearly labelled "Broadband Services" with a full statement of the package and reference number.

On my June bill I see a £13.60 for Package Fees / Line Rental.

They are obviously hoping to confuse folk.

Hardly a Money Saving Expert (me :D )

At least I've saved £1.25 a month for cancelling paper bills.

Question still stands : Can I still leave them ?, never received written notice of a contract.

You've paid for & using their service. Thats basically you agreeing to the terms & conditions of the contract.
