There's a notice in the Eastbourne Tesco Extra store that they'll be giving double points on all shopping on Monday 18th. Something to do with apologising for some of the tills not working last week. Hope this helps some of you living in the area.If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0

DS told me that with his mailing he received a voucher offering him 500 points if he opens an internet savings account. There are no T&C's, so he will open an account with a minimal amount and then once the account is up and running, he will get the voucher scanned in store. I have just been advised by Clubcard that this is what he has to do. Shame really, otherwise OH and I would both open up 2 new accounts. We only closed all our old ones at the weekend.
this is open to everyone

i have not done this yet as i think they do a credit check and i am not sure if it is a good idea to have this done after just applying for credit card, some one might be able to advise me on this?

Clubcard statement points offer
Terms and conditions of Clubcard Points offer available to customers who received the 500 points offer in the May Clubcard Statement.
I didn't get one but a friend of mine did.
Re: credit check - shouldn't be a problem unless you are going to apply for a mortgage or loan soon. I have multiple credit cards that I applied for just to get cashback, etc. and it's never been a problem. You can check your credit score using a free trial from Equifax (if you go through Quidco.com or similar cashback site they will pay you to do it, just remember to cancel before 30 days is up) or Experian. Quite interesting reading! If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
A credit check for a savings product is simply to confirm your ID, your credit rating is not checked or in any way affected.

Can I ask a quick question.
Our tesco credit card came through and we've started using it- initially we just tried it in tesco but on the reciept it came up that we recieved 0 clubcard points in that transaction. Does anyone know why this is?
I've also just spent approx £500 on it in the past few days in NEXT and to pay for some double glazing we had done.
P.S Clubcard plus actual cards and welcome pack are apparantly on there way0 -

I think the clubcard points come from Tesco finance for the credit card not your usual clubcard and so don't show up on the receipt although I could be wrong!
If you shop at Next through nectar estores then pay using your Tesco credit card you get points from both nectar and tesco!0 -

Also, I'd advise people to keep receipts and a log of the number of registrations as Tesco have already changed the Terms & Conditions of this offer from unlimited registrations to 5 and still have several very grey areas in the Terms.
has anyone recieved the extra points for the o2 deal i got my statment and the points havnt been added ?0 -

As far as I know, they transfer them over at when your statement is produced (so monthly). They don't appear as you are doing your spending.
