since theres no extra points offers going on at the moment, ill pass on my latest tip for collecting points :)

when recycling your beer cans for green club card points, VERY CAREFULLY cut the can in half for 1 point per can :) instead of the usual 2 cans for 1 point :)

hope it helps guys, but be careful and use thick gloves :j
    Completely stupid and obsessive idea!

Not had it yet, as not out! But points will be added in August and did a print out showing points Tesco are very good at sorting out any issues.

Is there a limit to how many ink carts you can buy on each account to get the 500 points?

I think the problem was that when it first came out, the system was abused. A couple were in the paper a few years back where they managed to recycle cans, glass etc and it ultimately paid for their holiday to New Zealand. The problem was that they also highlighted a loophole where they would cut cans up (to make 2 or 3 separate tin bits from one can) and the Tesco machine would count it as 2 or 3 separate items, which ultimately lost Tesco money.

Unfortunately, (and perhaps lucky for everyone else to stop it being abused) Tesco have got wise to this and he machine wouldn't accept it all and he got very little in the way of points, much to his annoyance.

Apologies - bad day is my only excuse.

unwise, dangerous and possibly a tad obsessive?

Really, encouraging people to cut up cans!
