Dunno if my last post was removed?. Anyways the £1 cd worked for me no problems. Though after trying it with just 2 cd's first to test it we go back the isle and pick a few items in the offer that the gf liked\wanted. So 3 of them and another £1cd. But wandering if they spotted what I did with the first 2 cd's. As going to the self service checkout with the other shopping items the lady there took the other 3 cd\dvd items with the tags on, removed them and proceeded to put all 3 items through the checkout before giving me chance to close 1 transaction ans start another. Thought it was out of order doing me out of 500 points lol.

The result was only another 500 extra points and not 1000. So can confirm it's just singular transactions here. But can also confirm the £1cd works too.

Might make a number of visits later and in the next week. Gf never had the nerve to do it all today on the basis of it's wasting £20 we cant afford. Not really as we would gain £200 worth of points for next years holiday which will almost certainly be 100% free the way things are going.

Hi I went to my local tesco today and bought 2 cds at £1 each and don't seem to have had any extra points added although they do have a wee star next to the item on my till receipt ,does this mean the points get added later or do I not get any...thanks for any comments shrewdal

hey the points should be at the bottom of your till recepit, anything you buy instore is instant. Online sometimes it states *next statement*

Our receipt stated the 500 bonus points at the bottom but said they would be added in the may statement. Never really had the bonus points like this before so unsure if waiting till the next statement is quite normal than having them added right away?.

Actually only 1 of them stated that the other 1 said nothing but never sdded them to the total today for some reason?.

Just been messing about with my online basket at it shows it does work on multiples, ie 1000 extra points showing for 4 CDs in the offer. If you are sure all the CDs are in the offer I would go back to customer services and get them to add manually.

Its not all the cds, its the ones in the charts only, there is a glitch with a £1 cd called forever love but thats the only cheap one it seems, the others are about £4 or more and you have to buy 2 to get 500 points and they show up straight away on your receipt so if they dont show on your receipt then you didnt get them

You will only get 500 point per transacvtion, so would need to put it through as 10 seoparate transactions. It's at the discretion of the store, but nothing stopping you buying two, taking them out to the car, coming back in for another 2 at onother checkout and so on...
That is wrong. I went yesterday and bought 12 Cd's in one hit, 3,000 points added at the bottom of the receipt. Went last night and bought another 10 for 2,500 points, so there doesn't seem to be a maximum number you can buy at a time either
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Yes there is a limit, it's decided on a store by store basis. It's pretty clear by now on here it does differ. Our store states on the 500 point tag per single transaction. And in fact buying 4 items in the offer only gave us 500 points. Still, 1000 points today is still great and still more than happy with that.

The £1cd is out of stock, well not on the shelfs any longer in our store. Going to try the smaller 1 in the morning I think.

I went into the Macclesfield store yesterday and looked out for this offer but the only extra 500 points i could see was on Chart Dvd,s and CD,s and there was a big sign saying that it was only on Chart ones so im not sure where people are finding its on £1 and £2 ones as well because i know i couldnt find them with the offer.
