  • trytospendless - are the Tesco entertainment DVD points in the 'other' section? I bought 2 DVDs before Xmas and have '1003' points in the 'other' section - I guess this is for the 2 DVDs?!?
  • Clubcard Plus has closed :(

How do you get them quarterly? I get them monthly and would rather them quarterly if it's possible to change :)

2 of the 5 were in the "other" section, I receive 1048 points when it should have been 2670. They have now adjusted my account. Will check receipt next time I am in, annoyingly I will not receive now until the next statement.

    Hi,
I can confirm that any clubcard vouchers can be used regardless of name as long as they are registered at the same address.
Grrrrr, looks like we have a problem as I don't live with my parents anymore.

Would my parents be able to claim the goldsmiths vouchers with their points and I do the same with mine, and then hand both the Goldsmiths vouchers over when it comes to pay for the ring, or is it one goldsmiths voucher per order?

I have used mine, hubiies (same addie) Mums and mum in laws (different addies) all together in one hit on more than one occasion when saving for Vegas trip no problems. Give it a go.

the T&C state, that you can only use other people vouchers if they are going on the trip too - so you have been lucky to get them accepted, as the holiday companies tend to be a sticklers where vouchers are concerned

the same T&C apply to goldsmiths. you cant combine your vouchers with someone elses, to make it up to the total - the T&C also state they cant be given as a gift, so perhaps Goldsmiths now want proof too, ie show clubcard, or id

Just to warn people that bought pre orders from Tesco entertainment to check your statements. Make sure you have been credited the points on your account, only 2 of mine were showing of the 5, and also the double points had not been added. I rang customer services and they added last night.
They come under other on the statement.

Thanks for this, I checked my statement, couldn't see the points had been added so I rang them. The really helpful young lady I spoke to confirmed they hadn't been added. She said she would get Tesco Entertainment to add them and offered to add some extra points by way of an apology.

I should imagine that with something like this, you could claim it is a gift you're giving?
At worst, with the ring, if both named people are there, they can't be upset with you buying something?
As far as they are concerned you haven't then transferred the vouchers?

The T&C state, no gifting of tokens, and for each name that appears on the vouchers, you must purchase one item - so if you and MIL go in together, hoping to use the vouchers, you will have to buy two items

so, you shouldnt be able to do either of the things you suggest - however, its always best to play dumb, and see if you can get away with it - if the sales assistant notices you have vouchers in different names, then say 'oops sorry didnt realise'. if they dont notice, all well and good
