  • Yay!

Am new to this clubcard thing so wondered if I could ask a question. If I convert my points to reward vouchers, when do I need to use the vouchers by?

    Thanks

The Tesco Clubcard vouchers themselves (before you convert to deals) last a year or 2

Regarding the Double Airmiles offer has anyone actually done it yet, as the only reference I can find to it is on this site. We are planning on going to Ireland (zone 1) in May and if this is correct it means all 5 of us can go for £80 instead of £360! So can someone please confirm that they have actually exchanged £16 worth of Clubcard points and got 750 airmiles in return? It just sounds too good to be true. Looking forward to your replies.:D
  • My balance this quarter jumped from about 5000 to about 7000 the other day, so the DVD points seem to have been added.

I haven't done this, but I looked at it and understand your calculation to be right.
  • I notice my ballance jumped up a little today but it only went up 500 points, i bought 4 DVDs so was expecting 2000. Did anyone get their points in more than one instalment or was it all together?

    Hi All,

Well, where to start. Ok, i'm completely new to this so I apologise for asking stupid questions in advance.
I would very much like to take my wife somewhere rather exotic in September/October 2010 time as it is our 2nd wedding anniversity. I had intended on doing this on our first anniversity however financially this just was not possible. I am doing everything I can think of to save money for this, including signing up to every single hotel and flight newsletter I can find!
I recently found out about Tesco Clubcard points and swapping them for airmiles, which would be fantastic for the flights and would save me alot of money, however being completely new to this i'm not entirely sure where to start.
    I filled my car with fuel yesterday and picked up a temporary clubcard and leaflet, and that is as far as I have got. Now........questions;

    1. Is the best thing to go through this whole site and see what has been said before, or will this all now be out of date?
    2. I am totally lost with the whole points to vouchers to airmiles thing, is there a simple way of explaining this?
    3. I see you can buy temporary Tesco cards on the internet with points already on them. Is this a good way of accumulating them?
    4. Can you combine cards, for instance...say I bought a card on the internet, and I also had my own....can I combine the two somehow to make a larger points total for airmiles, or would you have to have the full amount of points on 1 card?
    5. My wife does the shopping and she dislikes Tesco's, so the weekly shop will not be done there. Given that I have 8 months to accumulate enough points to get 2 flights to a zone 4 or 5 destination, and I will have to do this by my own purchases....is this realistic and should I actually bother if it is a lost cause?

I'd really appreciate any help and advice anyone can give me....be it good news or bad. Thank you in advance.

    Regards

I *think* I've only had 500 of my 1500 added so far. Hoping the total will jump up again when I check tomorrow. I only think it has coz I've done the mobile phone deal too where you get 1000 extra points for buying a mobile thru Tesco Direct....I'm pretty sure I got more than a 1000 added yesterday which is for the phone as I was due 1028 points. I'm so confused....I really need to start noting down what I'm owed!! :o

Me too I did 2 of the CD's and the online savings account (one in Dec for 1000 points if you deposited £1000 by Jan 13th) I think I am about 1000 points short but as my Tesco CC is also a clubcard I might have some on that seperately:confused:

I must start writing them down.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
