I have just placed an order online for 1 phone, but although it specifically states 1000 points on any Tesco mobile, I did not get the points. I suppose I am going to have to phone them, but I will wait to see if the order gets cancelled first, which it probably will.

As I suspected, my order was cancelled. A lengthy conversation with TD ensued. I have been advised that the possible reason was due to failing a security check! The long and short of it is that the phone has been re-ordered and the CS will come back to me in about an hour to see if it has gone through. We also discussed the lack of points, and I was assured that they would have been put on in time for the next mailing had the order been processed!
  • They've sent me an email offering me 1000 points if I shop online 3 times over next month or so. (minimum spend applies).

Watch out for the e-mail everyone! :)

Hi, I only started collecting clubcard points this time last year.
The first statement was £91, so I was really pleased, the 2nd was a little lower, but the last one was dreadfully low.
Anyway, I stopped shopping for everything at Tesco after their coupon policy changed, and haven't needed to buy any mobile phones ,and the petrol I have been getting cheaper closer to home.
Last year I took advantage of so many food items offering extra points, tea, olive spread and suchlike, but really can't find anything instore anymore.
Is this because of the double points they now offer, or is there a pattern to their offers?
I really want to start collecting as many points as I can, but not by buying things I really don't want or need, So how do I do it???

My advice is to buy thinkgs that you will need in the future in bulk. I have enough loo rolls, shampoo, tea, filter coffee, soap and baby bath (use as bubble bath) to last until the end of 2010.

Since the double points have started there are a lot less extra points offers. Just one of those things, it rewards regular customers rather than people just coming in to get the extra points.
