Hi all, we have got our decorations up now and are feeling Christmassy.

Pad £23.50 today £20 my son owed me and £3.50 refund for a broken herb pot in Woolies Sale, good job I checked as soon as I got home.

I have also parcelled up two more things to send back to the Catalogue, I only bought them for the free gift - duh. They can have that back too, my debt busting is my priority now.

    have a nice Sunday.

  • A payment a day is beyond me at the moment. What I'm doing instead is to pay an extra fiver to a CC bill each time one comes in. They're all on a reasonably similar lowish LOB deal so no real isasue about paying one off first I suppose. After March, this should change and I intend to start making bigger, more frequent inroads into my CC debts. It's just that between now and mid March, I have to put more money aside for my Jan 31 tax bill, pay my accountant, and fork out for a major service and MOT on my work van. I know there is essential work coming up on top of that for my van as well. If I start throwing money at daily debt paying, it would mean me having to borrow to sort out the above pending bills when they arrive so it is pointless going to more than the fiver a month extra.
However, I do have a strong desire to pay bits regularly off my debts but there is no point to doing that at the moment.
