Been paid today and paid £40 off the egg card today. Also got a money box at work now to keep in my draw so I can put all my bits of change into it. Today I have put 14p into it, all the pennies count!

  • £1.74 to Egg for me today. Total PaD since I started at the beginning of November is already up to £51.74 and all from dribs and bits and bobs of rounding down I've hardly noticed. Thanks for this great thread!
  • Hi to all ..

Haven't been on since Saturday as i've been ill for the last couple of days!
Just caught up on all the postings... by sooooo many. so well done to you all for all the payments made !

Purpleposting. Really pleased you got the house you wanted and in before Chrismas. Thats fantastic news.

MumofCookers. Well done for starting your no smoking this week. Best of luck with that.

Welcome to all the newbies since i last posted too

Put in £3.50 for the two days I've missed and another 70p in the pot for today. Really annoyed as I checked my bank today and am currently 0.99p o/d as Specsavers took there d/d payment out two days early. So went into town and banked £20 worth of my pot change as I have no o/d facility in place! and dont want to give them an excuse to give me any bank charges!
So will reduce my change pot amount accordingly x

  • Well, Postie finally came at just after 4pm and bought my capital 1 statement. Had to laugh as all the payments ment it was 4 pages long! Still had £40 of interest charges on there though, which wasnt so funny. So have decided to switch my focus from catalogue to this as £40 is a ridiculous amount to spend in interest on one card, especially as there isnt alot on there.

  • Well done on the house purpleposting4!

Thanks to everyone for yesterday being my first day giving up smoking.
Day 2!! I have seemed to eat everything I can lay my hands on! I don't feel great to be honest but it can't last forever, right!?

Anyway because of not smoking yesterday I can make a extra payment of £4.75 which I will round up to £5 for today!

Hope everyone is well and having a good day.

Good for you giving up the ciggies! It's one of those habits that will never get any cheaper cos it's an easy way for the government to tax people! I'm glad I never started smoking as I am sure I wouldn't have had the willpower to ever give it up!
