Hi all
What a busy few days you've all had - its taken me a giant mug of coffee to catch up with you all!
Well, London was great - busy and fun and all within budget. All those buy 1 get 1 free main meal vouchers were so handy (on here and handbag.com)and no-one batted an eyelid when we handed them over. Lovely to have a really nice meal and then just pay for more or less half. The tesco clubcard vouchers bought us a great meal at a smart restaurant and the kind waiter even let us use them for the coffee and service charge so we only had to fork out for a bottle of wine.
Managed to get lots of bargains as well as some not-so-cheap items using vouchers from mystery shopping, clicks etc. And best of all I didn't go over budget on anything.
And today my mystery shopping money was there so I've finally managed to get myself under £300 on my CC (well the one that I'm concentrating on anyway). To celebrate I have just claimed another Pigsback M&S voucher - its taken ages but it will soon be transformed into a tiny stash of 3for2 gifts for MIL to accompany the Christmas food hamper I make for them - cake, pudding, shortbread, chocs etc.
Thanks to everyone for keeping me so inspired and motivated - this year is proving to be much more hopeful and empowering than before. Hope you all have a lovely bonfire night however you choose to spend it.:TLD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

I don't actually do a payment a day physically to the CC - I have a little box that I put my pennies in and then when I'm in town I take them to the bank. So the payment into my box is my PAD and sometimes its as little as a few coppers that my husband leaves lying around. The point is to feel that everyday I'm making a difference rather than sticking my head in the sand - or making it worse.
Mr Tesco is occasionally right - every little helps!LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

I have made my missing mortgage payment my payment a day now. Even though we have agreed a payment plan I would rather get it paid off quicker so all the pennies etc I find round the house will go towards this.
Have put a £1 in my money bag so once I get a reasonable amount i will take to the bank and pay it to the Mortgage company.MAY NSD's

Hi Folks,
A quick drop in, between daytime TV, sleeping and scratching
I finally got the freezer inventory done, so am sitting this afternoon with the cookery books, a big mug of tea and a couple of Twinks sorting a meal plan for the rest of this month.
Have a look at OS for the Twinks recipe - better than Hobnobs any day.
Also in case you're wondering what is in my freezer/cupboards - have a look at the November Grocery Challenge. All ideas appreciated.
All the best
