Not true, actually - you had a good bash at involving me in your lengthy and extremely confusing thread on multiple personalities. I failed to rise to the bait as I was elsewhere, and by the time I read it, response seemed pointless.

Still, bet !!!!!! was alarmed to discover he'd had 3 children and a sex change!

I was just being a bit mischievious with old !!!!!!, but don't worry everyone knows that you're not his alter-ego. If I may say, your writing is very well constructed. Clearly the result of an education that !!!!!! never received.

You tend to get distracted and instead of sticking to house prices, turn (nearly) every thread into a personal attack. No idea if this is a general trait or limited to this board, as I've never read any of your posts elsewhere.

Did I? I see you have started again.
I think I said I was fed up of being called idiot, stupid etc. for having my own opinion. Some people are nice, debate and back up there points. Others prefer to have people on here that only have opinions which match theirs (no dig just an observation).

I said as a forum on a 'MONEY SAVING' website, the HPC sub board is pretty pointless. Apart from people saying "Don't buy a house now, you fool, buy in 5 years time" which could be classed as money saving if their crystal ball is correct, there is nothing really MONEYSAVING about the sub board. It onyl came into existence because the MSE team were sick of the complaints from the Housing/Mortgage/Renting baords about the HPC people rowing. The only point really is to provide a location for anyone who wants to argue, to do so without disrupting the other forums. I am not the only one who thinks this, I first heard it mentioned by Generali and heartily agreed with him at the time. Though the way you guys talk you'd think this was a utopian paradise of ordered debate before I turned up. Sorry, you were all fighting long before I arrived, and you'll fight long after I've gone.

I certainly didn't say that I hate/despise you all, why would I? I don't knwo you, you're all just text. Hate is a strong emotion and I don't really feel emotional about a web site. I do find it interesting that all the HPC guys moan about being abused by the HPI guys pre-crash, yet are now the ones doing all the abusing (not that there are many HPI guys left!)

There, hopefully I have answered your questions. If you have any more or any further remarks then please add them to the "We hate Dithering Dad" (AKA Why has DD got so many aliases) thread because we've clogged this one up enough already .

Fine - so given you do see the housing board as 'pretty pointless' - post directly above - why do you continue to post?

It may well be pointless for you, as you have (as far as I'm aware) no intention of buying a house or selling one.

For people like me, who do, it's not pointless - what could be more relevant than discussing movements - observed or predicted - in house prices? If I can save 50 or 100 grand by waiting a year or two, what could be more moneysaving than that? It makes saving a couple of hundred off my gas bill or whatever, look like peanuts.....

So why are you here again?

Not that I'm trying to make you go - you just remind me of my first trip to the opera - La Traviata - where the main woman spends half an hour singing that she's about to die any second. I'm obviously not cut out for opera, as I just kept wishing she'd get on with it then....... :rolleyes:
