I buy lots of copies of whatever magazine is named as having mocs in it (see the magazine thread started by MBN). I have been known to buy (with other coupons) shedloads if the moc has a long expiry date and a large profit over and above the magazine price.
I buy lots of copies of newspapers stated as having a high-value nss moc in (see the Daily newspaper thread, started every day by quoia).
I print out as many printable mocs as I can (see the printable coupons thread sticky for info, and the printable coupons chat thread if you have any questions).
I buy products with mocs sometimes if the product is useful and the mocs worth more than the item (e.g. Oasis small bottles at 2 for £1 when each one had a £1 moc on it, or the Nestle pic-a-pac mini cereal packets which had £2 in mocs until recently but only cost £1.21).
Finally, I don't shop once a week I shop once a day, or at least almost every day. Tesco allow one of each coupon per day so if I have £20 in mocs I might shop 6 times a week spending about £21 each time (almost completely covered by coupons). I will also top up with smaller shops at a smaller Tesco or Waitrose where I can also use more of the same mocs.
We have 4 kids and a fairly low income and this is how we make ends meet TBH, it's a way of life to me now!

Blimey - sounds like a full time job. Don't think I'd have the stamina, but well done you and thanks for the info.

you must spend a fortune on magazines!
People sometimes think that but you are missing the point I think. I don't spend real money much. I buy everything with coupons including the magazines & newspapers.
So say I print £5-worth of internet mocs, I add them to my pile of £9 worth of other mocs. Then I will go to Tesco & buy £12 worth of essentials/food plus 3 copies of Best magazine (this week it has a £2 moc in which is a small profit on the 85p price).
Then the next day I have the same £14 in mocs plus one of the £2 mocs from Best so I can buy £14-worth of food plus 3 more Best magazine, etc.
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Do it Donna - it really is addictive! I think Coupon Mad is brilliant at it and does it very well, and is really kind in sharing her bargains and tips!
I've been using MOCs since last year through this site and PTS and have loved it! You do need nerves of steel sometimes if you get a funny SA - but just keep trying. Start of with just one or two coupons that you know willwork and then carry on from there! good luck0 -
Thanks plzhelpmesave!
I can't wait to get going lol, I can imagine it would be very addictive too! My friend though I was mad with my DTD hunting, till I got her some free chocolates the other day

NannaC agrees about nerves of steel or perhaps in my case a slightly bemused look. Once really confused a poor young SA with all my coupons for £45 off a £50 shop. I had asked if could use some just not how many, she called the Supervisor [arrrrrrrrrrrrrg] who turned out to ba a STAR said she used them as well and put them all through. Couponmad NannaC takes off her hat to you way to go girl0 -
Just returned from a little Tesco Express. It has a small shelf with clearance items - there were little night garden figure toys in s box 61p or 69p from £2.9X, sorry to be a bit vague.0
