I unknowingly bought out of date stuff from Tesco a little while ago, it was 3 months ood I took it back to customer services because I was shocked about it and very angry that I could have fed it to my children. I was polite but said that I wanted to complain in the strongest terms - they fell over themselves apologising and offered me the most expensive flowers in the shop - which I accepted along with a full refund and fresh replacement food. I could have said I would go to Trading Standards but couldn't be bothered to go down that route. HOWEVER since then I have found 3 other reduced items to be OOD so do watch these reduced items........buy it and take it back and see what they offer you! These other 3 items I have just removed from the shelves and taken to CS tut tutting.

Sorry if this post annoys anyone as it is a little off topic but it could be doing someone a favour.

Just bought a 100g tub of Vaseline for the grand sum of 23p.

Spotted other mayonnaises, bearnaise sauce, mustards reduced. Also salad dressings under 50p. Bought Heinz Tomato Ketchup 342g, under half price at 50p, offer ends today. This was cheaper than the BUY 2 FOR £3 offer at moment.

Spotted these today; the large tins of chopped tomatoes with either herbs or onions added. (Only onion ones left at Lydney!) 22p a tin.
This makes them cheaper than value ones at 26p!:money:
