Found some notice boards, half corkboard, half 'whiteboard' (but made of cardboard) and some pins and a whiteboard pen. Went through as 25p each

Tesco Boxed Batter Mix 2 packs in box are selling for 15p at the moment no yellow sticker. Works out cheaper than the basics at 8p each.

yeah, by ½p per pack :rotfl:

I guess though it's perceived to be better quality than the Value stuff at 8p a packet so it does seem a bargain.

The 15p pack makes a larger quantity, therefore is better value I suppose. However I prefer the value packs as they make just the right amount of batter for yorkshires. Otherwise we are forced to eat fattening but delicious pancakes to use it up!:rotfl:

Take about 15 minutes to cook.

Brought one bag to see if they were any good. Cooked em glazed with beaten egg and my 3 boys swooped down on them like a plauge of locusts!! Bought two more bags today!!

Somebody mentioned these the other day and I went for a look but could only see the bags of Value ones. Could you post the barcode from the product or a bit more info on what the packaging looks like please?

Tesco Peppercorn mustard and Tesco Roast Garlic Mustard (180g jars) both reduced to clear at 37p a jar today.

tried the barbeque lamb kebabs, marked £3 but like most reduced by half to £1.50. They were quite nice but it struck me that you could defrost them and use the lamb chunks in a hotpot? Quite a cheap way of getting a reasonable amount of lamb. They are marinated in something though.

I got a pack of 8 lootbags (partybags) for 45p yesterday, instead of the usual £1.25. Lots of other (birthday)party stuff on offer too, like disposable cups and plates!

Great for my son's birthday next month.
