Was about to chuck the 1kg "Market value" pack of carrots costing 58p ish into my basket (well, they are cheaper than loose ones!) when I spotted these at the top of the display.
Commented to the asistant who was re-stocking that this was 50% more for less than 20% of the price.:money: He reckoned this size could be about to be discontinued.
Now to get through 'em all without turning orange!:eek:Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0 -
Tesco Toffee Sauce seems to be a lot cheaper than their other flavours at 49p
Also got a box of sugar cubes for 36p which seemed cheap to me - is it?
It's the same with the ice-cream sauces, the askeys' toffee one is 62p in my local where as all the other flavours are 95p. I'm addicted to the stuff - it is really nice in coffee [STRIKE]straight out of the bottle [/STRIKE] as it's just sugary condensed milk

I thought the frozen quiches were good value - they were half price today at 84p
Cheese and onion or quiche Lorraine.
Haven't tried them yet though!
Garlic doughballs were cheap too - 64p0 -
I am going to use the 29p white bread mix to make dough balls, even cheaper and you can make loads mmmhh.
Frozen bbq range still at £1 per item. had loads at ipswich martlesham store, bought, salmon kebabs, sardines, spicey chick wings and chick breasts, also found 50 frozen party sausage rolls at 64p, half price!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Frozen 500g bags of red kidney beans or chick peas reduced to 50p from £1.25. I like these as I can just grab a handful and pop into chilli con carne or soups, often find a tin too much for 2.'Neither a lender nor a borrower be'
Now why didn't I take any notice of the
second part of that quote!!???0 -
