If I were you I would be grateful for what I have, and thankful I don't live in a country run by Ant & Dec.

Don't envy us, it's you who is the lucky one.
Hehehe sorry I think I must have worded it wrong, I don't envy you living in the UK one little bit. Mind you our politicians make yours look professional, yes milk and meat is a little dearer but the actual quality is amazing, Manx lamb is exported to most of the top restaurants due to its very low fat and high grade meat, the cheese is fantastic, you buy a burger here from the shop and a quarter pound one is still virtually the same weight cooked. Yes things are a little more expensive here on the mainland than your adjacent isle but this is offset by a decent tax rate and allowances (example I pay £4,800/yr on £40k) low rates or council tax to you £400/yr inclusive of water rates, unemployment now at just below 2% and falling and crime very low with most crimes being domestic or drug related confined to a very small minority (average 1 house in 200 has an alarm and about the same lock their door), we also have the advantage that you cannot work here without a permit for the first 5 years if there is a Manx worker fit for the job you cannot get a permit for it or your permit may not be renewed and no benefits paid to anyone with less than 5 years residency.

Did they finally get rid of the pointless 3 liter of 0.75% milk with an expiry date only a few days in the future? Who would need that much milk?

My Tescos haven't had these in stock since they made them 20p! They seem to go down well with my son, who is very particular.

I bought a 3 litre one of these on 14th May, reduced to 65p and use by 16th May. It smelled and tasted good right up until we finished it on 19th May. I find skimmed milk just that little bit too watery and usually buy only semi, but I would definitely use this again as its not that different from semi - skimmed.
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

I am off to the cash and carry - wiseman The One is just 79p for 2 Litres, plus I can get whole mik for 87p for 2 litres too for the toddleys person. Not getting it from Tesco till it gets more reasonable.

DAZ original half price in Tesco this afternoon. Reduced from £7.65 to £3.82. It's the 42 wash box. Not bad It's a 'which' best buy. Powder cleans your whites much better than liquid as there's bleach in powders but not liquids. :j

Ta - doing the monthly shop over the next couple of days. Got a voucher too for tescos for a couple pund off a £20 spend on household stuff and am looking to stock up the store cupboard. This will help!

If there is any left. In our local Tesco whenever this offer comes on it flies out of the door. Saw the night staff buying loads this morning. :)
