    Erm, we were trying to walk from Formby to Crosby (Merseyside) to see the Antony Gormley statues in the sea, started to hear banging, but didnt think owt of it and just carried on walking.

    Then a bloke came over to us from this army place in the dunes, and said there were 300 marines practising their shooting and they had closed the beach, due to flying bullets :rotfl:

    As soon as the bloke said marines, I checked my hair was ok, very important to look nice for the big burly soldiers innit :cool:
    Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:

    Well we went back to the cat and dog home, and the dog we liked is already reserved:rolleyes: ...there was another wee pup but they reckoned he will grow quite big so that rules him out:(
