Nair hair removal cream - in Boots it's £6.99.

  • Hi

Could anyone tell me if the Camden Branch has still got the Crystal Deodorant sticks in stock? And whereabouts the branch actually is? It could save me a long trip!

    Many thanks

Thanks Andrea. Actually came across that site after I posted here. They've also got a branch in Kilburn which isn't listed on the website. No crystal sticks though! Gonna try and get to Camden now.

Update: Never made it to Camden - stopped at the Kilburn branch and they had the Crystal sticks in for the first time so I managed to stock up!

At out local 99p store, they had a giant wheel outside the store and a man dressed up in a yellow and blue suit. They were running a quiz and where giving away Lazytown pencil cases and had a poster about a DVD player for 99p in the quiz.

From what I heard the man was asking questions like "why are you doing out today" and you were supposed to say something like "I'm going to the 99p store" to win a prize. From what I saw the chap was giving out prizes to everyone there was a small crowd.

Went in to the store just normal offers.

Some nice bakeware dishes quite large, though nothing related to the show outside the store.

Interestingly Poundland has just opened a store nearby and they sent staff out to hand out sweets and leaflets for Poundland to people at the 99p store show!

Just some friendly rivalry in West Ealing retailing. There is a Mr Pound between these 2 stores and a £1 store next to Pound land. That is 4 £1 type stores within 2 minutes of each other!

Did not see anyone win a DVD player and no boxes, but the chap did pack and leave so perhaps he had given his stock away.

I know they do the 99p DVD Players at lauch time at the 99p stores.

Perhaps they are feeling the pressure from Poundland?!

Noticed that the 99p store now have sun dried tomatos and olives (mixed about 90:10) in olive oil. These seem to have replace the sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms in olive oil.

Also some Black and Decker Buster accessory packs that have a unit to fix to the wall so you can clip in your Dust Buster. Original Black and Decker accessory if you need it. I use a dust pan and brush :)

They still had the 4 tins of Branston Baked Beans label said £2.50 for 99p not bad for a premium brand.
    Seth.

I wandered into the Liverpool store for the first time ever on saturday, had looked everywhere for little cheap wicker baskets for teenage makeup hampers. They had stacks of really lovely little lined ones with handles!!!! Choice of either plain canvas or red, blue or lilic gingham lining. Slightly smaller than I wanted but a bargin at 99p! And they will be a little cheaper to fill! :D
Only problem is now I've been asked to make more for friends so don't all rush out and buy them all! Leave me a few! :D

Also picked up a little babies cotton dress with matching knickers and hat and little bratz canvas shoes which are now on DD's baby born!
