Sock monkeys!

hiya all

here is my latest. he started off as a keyring but is too big so i made him into a baby sock monkey. i crocheted the hat, nappy, blankie and teddy.



will have another go at making one small enough for a keyring tomorrow!!! :rolleyes:

That is really sweet nuttybabe. Looks just like a baby with those big eyes!

These are the sock monkeys I made just after christmas. Made the three stripy ones for my three dd's then ds who's 11 wanted one so he got the grey camo one!!

here is my latest. i used newborn socks but i still think she is a bit too big for a keyring but thats what she is. the next one will have a tutu on! :P

I have posted this on the Sewing Thread, but I guess he belongs here, this is my second attempt at a sock monkey the first one is a bit scary and this one is slightly better, my boys love them which is what matters I guess

That is so good! Not a grumpy smile to be seen. I love the way you make the ears so cute and round- mine always seem to come out as large flappy things.

thanks LJM and Kandipandi (I used newborn socks and bought the keyring bit off ebay - so have a go!!).

Kandipandi - i didnt put a picture on of my first one either!!!! My second one was alot better too. Yours is really good. Cant wait to see your next one!
