I took out a mortgage in 2004.
I defaulted in 2006 then caught up with payments.
I defaulted again in 2016 then caught up again.
I’ll have paid my mortgage off next April.
Question- when will all this info disappear from my credit file??
No need to post it twice, start your own thread with the relevant question but dont do that, let a board guide move it to its own thread.0 -
My husband and I both signed up to clearscore. We each receive a monthly email with our score but this month they sent my report to my husbands email address. Surely this is some sort of privacy breakdown?0

Are you using the same computer to access the site?0 -
We didn't access the site. It was sent to our individual email addresses. I got mine and then a couple of days later he got exactly the same email with my name and details sent to his email address.Yes we do share a computer0

Then it’s remembering the previous login.
If he opens an private/incognito window it should ask him him login and show his report.

One of the recommendations to maintain or increase your credit score is "Account Stability" yet it is necessary to frequently change Bank accounts or add to existing accounts to obtain better interest rates or perks, and also when a preferential rate expires at the end of a period. It is a pity this is not taken into account especially if one account has been maintained for many years. I appreciate that this account stability is an average so allowance may be made for this, but it can also gives a result that does not allow for reasons for these account changes.0

Changing bank accounts is something that worries very few lenders.
So don't let it stop you moving if it's in your best interests.0 -
Hello. I'm new to this site and the world of credit ratings. About a year ago I checked my credit score on experian and found it to be quite good (can't remember the number, but it was above average I think, but not fantastic). I checked my score today and can't seem to get a score on any website - seems they can't pull my info. Can you think of any idea why?
I've lived in 3 addresses over the past 2.5 years. But I've been registered at my parents address since 2012. I have also used monzo for most of my day to day spending and my main bank account only to pay rent / phone bills and transfer money to my monzo.
Any help would be very helpful.

Apologies if this isn’t the right board to post on,
ive recently become debt free having been on a DMP for quite a few years.
having made every payment on time to my debt management company, my credit file shows as some payments were late to a couple of creditors.
would it be worth trying to get these removed or would it affect my credit rating even more by adding a note to say I was on a DMP at the time?
thanks in advance.D'oh :whistle:0
