Just been on to the Halifax about a Chargeback. Their official line is that this service is only offered to "Ultimate Reward" account holders, and if I can't contact Wrapit directly for a refund my local Citizens Advice might be able to help...... useful
Assuming its a Visa card, this isn't true, you have a dispute right under the chargeback system.

If Wedgwood gifts were on your Wrapit list then you can order the gifts again and get a gift voucher for future purchases.0 -
Couples with Wedwood gifts on Wrapit gift lists should also take a look at http://www.thisisstaffordshire.co.uk/news/Wedgwood-honours-newlyweds-orders/article-251131-detail/article.html to get their gifts.0

I paid £83 for a gift back in May. I tried speaking to Halifax credit cards (Mastercard) and they said I would have to make a claim to their payment disputes team which may take 6 weeks and is likely to be unsuccessful.
Is there anything that i can do to claim the money back from Mastercard/Halifax?0 -
I purchased a gift for a friends wedding throught Wrapit on the 14 January this year. The whole gift was over £100 but I was only just made aware that part of the gift (worth £55) has never arrived. I contacted the credit card company and they said that I had to contact Wrapit first but they also said that since my purchase was over 120 days ago then I was not likely to get my money back - it this right?
I have written to wrapit and the credit card company giving them both all the information they asked for.0 -

That's totally unture. Wedgwood are offering you the chance to buy the bgist from them, with a discount to be applied to a later transaction. of course they are not giving stuff away for free
People, check out www.wrapitcustomers.com for loads of helpful advice and updates, as well as the group on Facebook.
And if you insured with M&S or Ecclesiastical, they are both saying they will cover any money that cannot be claimed back, which is great news for those of us who went with them. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

No, find out when the couple actually ORDERED the gifts as that is when the transaction really took place, Don;t let them fob you off. :j

Martin, We ordered £156 pounds in total. 3 different items. Used Mastercard. On contacting Mastercard yesterday they stated that 'they would look into it'. However, as of today I have not had a direct response to this query BUT an e-mail informing me that the percentag APR will increase from 10.9% to 16.9% from 8th September! Coincidence or someone endeavouring to recoup any possible costs?? Help??!0
