Hi there,
I am currently with Tiscali for broadband internet access. I want to go wireless, and Tiscali have sent me the Siemens Gigaset SE587 wireless router set which includes router, power supply, phone filters, ethernet cable, RJ11 cable and installation CD.
What I would like to establish is whether I also require a wireless adapter in order to set wireless broadband up ?
If so will any do, or do I need a particular make/model ?
Any advice would be most appreciated.
Best regards,
km018.

I f you have laptop a wireless network card will already be installed,so just run the cd that tiscali sent you and connect as per instructions.
If you are planning to go wireless via your pc you will need a network card that is compatible with what Tiscali have sent you. Best ring their help line for advice if in doubt.
Incidentally I have Tiscali as my broadband provider and am wireless for my laptop which I am using to type this message, while relaxing in the conservtaory. I didn't use their kit but bought my own wireless router off netgear, which works great.0
