Message to deichmann shoes
Hi there, I am not normally one to do this but unfortunatly i feel i have no other choice but to make a complaint. I have a pair of Victory trainers which i bought from the Warrington store. I am rather unhappy with them. Ive had them for between 2-3 month and the bottoms have worn through, im not a professional runner or the like so id like to know why after only two months my feet got wet today as i walked in the rain? The quality of this particular pair is rather poor, so i decided to call into your branch to see if anything could be done. I had not kept my reciept as i did not feel that was really necessary but now i no different. EXCEPT for the fact that even with a reciept your trainers are only guaranteed for 3 months. Never in my time have i heard of such a poor cutomer guarantee. In fact im fairly sure that by law they should be guaranteed for twelve months. I have been as customer at the warrington store since it opened as i like these particular trainers and reapeatedly purchase the same pair when i feel its time for a change. Only this time i feel ive been pushed to far i dont want any money back, id like an exchange and due to the fact that ive regularly used your company and would like to do so in the future i feel it would be good of you as a GOODWILL gesture honour an exchange. However i am very dissapointed with my experience this time and am seriously considering taking my custom elsewhere. I look forward to yo prompt responce. Thank you.

Dear Mr Foster
Thank you for taking the time to write to us. We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction.
As per our refund policy below we will willingly exchange the item in store without a receipt.
In future, if you could keep hold of a receipt, it would be useful to us so that we know when they were purchased. This is not necessary, but helps to justify a complaint if they have only been worn for 3 months.
We also need to advise you that our shoes are not guaranteed just for 3 months. If there is a genuine fault then we will happily refund.
I hope this answers your query and that you can get this sorted out in store. I will advise the store to expect your exchange.
Regards

I emailed Kotex today because on their American site there is a competition to win a year's supply and you can register for a free sample... but on the UK site there was nothing.
They came back straight away saying it was against their policy to give out samples in the UK. Booo.0 -
Can someone clarify whether product vouchers can be used in supermarkets if that particular product has not been bought.
I ask because I got £6 worth of vouchers from a small environmentally-friendly cleaning product company but don't want to post the details on here if people get the vouchers and don't buy the products because I'd feel awful! I know it's tricky... I really want to spread the word because I know how much it helps small companies but I don't want to cause them problems!
What do you reckon?0
